WHO WE ARE
The annual Macomb St. Clair Mega Cruise Chesterfield (formerly known as the North Gratiot Cruise) and the Chesterfield 5K are presented by the North Gratiot Cruise Foundation, a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization where net proceeds are distributed to local community groups.
AN ANNUAL CRUISE TRADITION
Founded in 2012, the North Gratiot Cruise Foundation powers one of Macomb County's most recognized annual traditions. As the charitable arm of the Gratiot Avenue Chamber of Commerce — a subchamber of the Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce (SMCC) — the Foundation turns a high-traffic community event into measurable charitable impact.
EACH YEAR, THE CRUISE:
DONATIONS RAISED:
Attracts over 25,000 attendees
Raises tens of thousands of dollars for local causes
Showcases businesses to a massive regional audience
$900K by Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce
$100K by North Gratiot Cruise Foundation
BACKED BY REGIONAL LEADERSHIP
The Southeast Michigan Chamber of Commerce supports business growth across 11 communities and approximately 500,000 residents. Through its network — including the Gratiot Avenue, Warren Center Line, St. Clair, and Sterling Heights chambers — SMCC provides advocacy, networking, and economic leadership.
